New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Namaste! Today you will arrive at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. A Friends Travel Services representative will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. You are then driven to your hotel where you are assisted with your check in. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 2
The day begins with breakfast followed by visit to old and New-Delhi Rajghat, Shanti Van and Shakti Sthal are memorials to Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi respectively. Shah Jahan's imposing citadel the Red Fort was built at the eastern extremity of the walled city along the river front. Jami Masjid the biggest mosque was also raised by Shah Jahan. It is the largest mosque in India. Break for Lunch in a good restaurant in the vicinity.By afternoon the tour proceeds towards Old Delhi.The 12th century tallest stone tower Qutab Minar an Islamic landmark was built in 12th century by Qutbuddin Aibak. In the compound is the fascinating 4th century Iron Pillar as good as new. The 340-roomed Viceregal lodge raised atop Raisina Hill and is today the Rashtrapati Bhawan, where the President of India lives. The beauty of this building is increased by the Rajpath axis and the symmetrical location of the India Gate the World War I memorial arch.Visit Humayan tomb Built in the mid 16th century by Haji Begum, senior wife of Humayun, the second Mughal empero. Laxmi Narayan Temple is considered very pious among the Hindus. The Bahai Lotus Temple is spectacular modern landmark. The newly constructed Akshardham Temple on the river bed is pious and amazing architectural piece. Those interested in shopping visit Chandni Chowk. Day 3
This morning after breakfast you will drive to Mughal city Agra and check into your hotel. Enroot you may also visit Mathura-the birth place of Lord Krishna. This afternoon visit the Agra fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar, and the famous Taj Mahal-the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. You may also visit Dayal Bagh. By evening return to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Agra.
Day 4
This morning after breakfast you will drive to the pink city of Jaipur. Enroot you will visit the Fatehpur Sikhri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Upon arrival check into your Hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5
This morning after breakfast visit the Amber fort, built in 16th century, enjoy an elephant ride at Amber. Drive past the Hawa Mahal-a Palace of winds. In the afternoon you will visit the city palace and museum, walk to adjacent Jantar Mantra an astronomical observatory. In the Evening return to Hotel. Rest of the Evening is at your leisure. Overnight at Hotel in Jaipur.
Day 6
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the holy city Pushkar. Enroot you will visit the Dargah Khwaja Sahib, one of the holiest Muslim shrines in the country. On arrival check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Hotel in Pushkar.
Day 7
This morning after breakfast visit Pushkar town in the Ajmer district in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is situated at 14 km North West from Ajmer at an a verage elevation of 510 meters (1673 feet), and is one of the five sacred dhams (pilgrimage sites for devout Hindus). It is often called "Tirth Raj" - the king of pilgrimage sites- and has in recent years become a popular destination for foreign tourist. Pushkar is one of the oldest cities of India. Pushkar lies on the Shore of Pushkar Lake. The date of its actual origin is not known, but legend associates Lord Brahma with its creation. It is mentioned that Brahma performed penance here for 60,000 years to have a glimpse of Vishnu.

Highlights of Pushkar Fair (every year fair is in October & November). About Pushkar fair that is popular amongst everybody in the world. The Pushkar festival is celebrated in October or November every year, starting from the Kartik Shukla Ekadashi. It is a colorful and vibrant festival celebrated for 5 days till kartik Purnima. The small and attractive town of Pushkar becomes a center of attraction at the time of "Pushkar Mela". It is the world’s greatest camel and cattle fair. Here, one can enjoy the vacations to the fullest.This Pushkar fair is full of music and dance, people come to trade their wares, and one can also enjoy the body tattooing. The specialty of this fair is the complete range of textiles from all over the Rajasthan under one banner. The festival also presents some cultural shows, exhibitions and other competitions. There are also some competitions like "moustache", "matka phod" and "bridal competition" etc. The Pushkar, in this time span, comes to life with thousands of tourists.
Day 8
This morning after breakfast drive to Bikaner. Upon arrival check into your hotel. After -Fresh up you will visit Junagarh Fort, built by Rai Singh between 1588 and 1593, it has a 986-metre-long wall with 37 bastions. Visit Deshnok village which is fascinating temple for the holy rodents are considered to be incarnations of the storytellers, and run riot over the temple complex by evening return to your hotel. Overnight in Bikaner.
Day 9
This morning after breakfast drive to Jaislmer.Enroot you will pass by many Rajasthan villages & drive through the greet Indian desert by afternoon you will arrive in jasilmer check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure you may rest in the hotel or visit the jaislmer city.
Day 10
This morning after Breakfast proceed to city tour of Jaisalmer. Visit Sonar Fort- housing a fourth of city's residents, Patwon Ki Haveli-one of the most exquisite havelis with a beautifully latticed facade, Salim Singh Ki Haveli- just three centuries old and is still lived in. Its arched roof is held up by well executed brackets in the form of peacocks. Nathmalji Ki Haveli built by two architect brothers is also worth admiring. Overnight at Hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 11
This morning after breakfast procced to the Blue City of Jodhpur. Upon arrival check into your hotel. In the afternoon visit the Mehrangarh Fort situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort visit Moti- Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh in 1899 and the Umaid Public Gardens. Overnight at Hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 12
This morning after breakfast drive to udaipur.Enroot Visit Ranakpur famous for Jain Temples. The Ranakpur Jain Temples were built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. An enormous basement covers 48,000 sq. feet area. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty-four pillared halls and eligibly domes supported by over four hundred columns. Visit Muchhal Mahaveer Temple- The distinctive feature of this Jain temple is the statue of Lord Mahavira with a moustache. From here proceed to Udaipur. Check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure you may rest in the hotel or visit the Udaipur city in the evening. Overnight in Udaipur Overnight at hotel.
Day 13
This morning after breakfast City tour of Udaipur also known as the city of Lakes. It is the historic capital of the former kingdom of Mewar in Rajasthan Agency. Lake Pichola, fateh Sagar Lake, udai sagar and Swaroop sagar in the city are considered some of the most beautiful lakes in the state. Places you visit CITY PALACE. Udaipur is a palaces complex in Udaipur in the Indian state Rajasthan. It was built by the Maharana udai Mirza Singh as the capital of the sisodia Rajput clan in 1559, after he moved from chittor. It is located on the east bank of the Lake pichola and has several palaces built within its complex. Udaipur was the historic capital of the former kingdom of Mewar in the Rajputana Agency and its last capital. JAGDISH TEMPLE is one of the famous temples of Udaipur. Located in the city palaces compel of Udaipur, this temple is made in the Indo Aryan style of architecture. In 1651, Jagdish temple was built by Maharana jagat Singh, who ruled Udaipur during 1628-53. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Laxmi Narayan), the preserver of the universe.JAG MANDIR is a palace built on an island in the Lake pichola. It is also called the "Lake Garden Palace". Its construction is credited to three Maharana of the sisodia Rajputs of Mewar kingdom. It is named as "Jagat Mandir" in honour of the last named Maharana jagat Singh.SAHELION KI BARI is one the most beautiful gardens and a major tourist destination in Udaipur. The garden is famous for its lush green lawns marble art and fountains. English translation of saheliyon ki bari means" Garden of maids. By evening you may take a walking tour on your own through the narrow lanes and back streets of Udaipur up to the Washing Ghats at the lake Pichola. By late evening return to your hotel. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 14
Today you will be transferred to Airport to take a flight for Delhi / Mumbai for your onwards Journey.
