Day 1

Arrive at Delhi our services begin here

Namaste! Today you will arrive at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. A Friends Travel Services representative will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. You are then driven to your hotel where you are assisted with your check in.

Day 2

Delhi City Tour of Old Delhi & New Delhi.

This morning after breakfast proceed for full day Delhi city tour by car. We will start with old Delhi. This excursion includes an exploration of the Jama Masjid (1650 AD), the largest mosque in India. The Masjid (Mosque) is a magnificent example of Mughal architecture and is constructed of red sandstone and white marble. From here continue on to the amazing Red Fort that was finished a decade before the mosque. Both structures were built by Shah Jahan, the emperor that created the Taj Mahal.The great city inside the massive sandstone walls of the Red Fort offers visitors a large number of architectural and historical attractions. Have a fascinating rickshaw ride in the ancient alleys of the crowded and colorful bazaar at Chandni Chowk. From here visit (Raj Ghat) is a simple yet stirring memorial to the father of the nation.

Afternoon – enjoy a city tour of New Delhi. This excursion begins with the awe-inspiring Qutab Minar (1193 A.D.). This 239 ft tall medieval tower is a symbol of victory and a beautiful example of Persian architecture. Next we will visit tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. Lotus temple & Rashtrapati Bhawan (known as Viceroy’s House during the British era), Delhi’s landmark structure India Gate, a golden domed Sikh Temple (Bangla Sahib Gurudwara), & the Birla Temple. The last part of this excursion is a drive through Connaught Place, which is New Delhi’s downtown. By late evening return to hotel.

Day 3

Delhi to Jaipur

This morning after breakfast proceed to jaipur. Enroot you will pass many old villages of Rajasthan by noon you will arrive in jaipur. In the evening Excursion to Chokhi Dhani complex, an ethnic village resort located at a distance 15 km from Jaipur. Evenings at Chokhi Dhani are very special. A Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground and includes the entertainment by folk dancers and musicians. The guests can move around freely and enjoy the evening. Later drive back to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4

Jaipur city tour.

This morning after breakfast proceed to jaipur city tour. Excursion to Amber Fort Palace, Enjoy the ascent up to the ramparts of the fort by elephant OR (jeep. The massive Fort complex was originally built by Raja Mansingh and is one of India’s finest examples of Rajput architecture. Explore the chambers and hallways, which are famous for their exquisite designs and handcrafted. Next you will visit City Palace. Visit Jantar Mantar (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the magnificent stone observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728. After the observatory comes a photo opportunity of the ‘Hawa Mahal’ (Palace of the Wind). This intriguing facade was built in 1799 so that the ladies of the court could use its unique windows and observe the bustling bazaar, without being visible to the people on the streets. Continue the tour with an exploration of the City Palace, the former royal residence (a part of it is still occupied by the Royal family and is not accessible to the public), built in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra Taj Mahal (closed on Friday)

This morning after breakfasts proceed to Agra. En route we visit Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece in sandstone with the stunning elegance of its palaces and courts. Further proceed to Agra, upon arrival check into your hotel. Afternoon you will visit Agra fort. At sunset visit seventh wonder of the world Taj Mahal Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, it was constructed by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal.Overnight stay at Agra.

Day 6

Agra to Orchha Enroot visit Sikandra tomb

This morning after breakfasts proceed to Orchha Enroot you may visit sikandra tomb you may also visit the famous tomb of Itmad-Ud–Daulah. From here proceed to orchha upon arrival check in to your hotel. By late Afternoon visit the old city of Orchha. History of Orchha.The Bundela Rajput chief, Rudra Pratap, founded the city, located by the side of the beautiful Betwa River in the 16th century. It was also the capital of Bir Singh Jahangir, which ruled over Orchha for over two centuries. Places to visit Raja Mahal, the Laxminarayan Temple. Jahangir Mahal. Chatturbhuj Temple. Day 8

Khajuraho City Tour

This morning after breakfast visit the world renowned Khajuraho temples, known for its erotic sculptures. Visit EASTERN & WESTERN GROUP OF TEMPLES - Though all the temples are worth a visit, the main attractions are the Parasvanath Temple, the Adinath temple. Khajuraho temples, built between 950 and 1050 AD by the mghty warrior kings of the Chandela dynasty, in a truly inspired burst of creativity. The temples are famous for themagnificent carvings depicting numerous sexual postures of the famous "Kamasutra", ancient Indian work on sex. Only 22 temples survive of the 85 originally built. In fact, worship isstill done today in the Matangeshwara temple, continuing an unbroken 1000 year tradition. By evening return to your hotel.

Day 9

Khajuraho to Varanasi by flight.

Day 10

Varanasi City Tour Boat Ride & visit to Sarnath

Early morning boat excursion on the holy river Ganges to see the bathing ghats and cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India. The boatman starts rowing the boat. We wait for the daily miracle to unfold, as the Sun appears triumphantly over the horizon. Return to hotel for breakfast & later proceed to city tour visit Sarnath, the Buddhist city, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the museum. Varanasi to Delhi by Flight & Transfer to International Airport

Today you will be transferred to Airport to take a flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi Airport assistance in transferring to International Airport to board your onward flight.
