Srinagar, Sonamarg and Gulmarg Tour Itinerary

Day 1
On arrival Srinagar airport/ bus stand, our driver will meet you displaying your name card & transfer to the Houseboat/ Hotel. Upon arrival check into your House boat. After Freshen up you will be visit The City of Srinagar. The world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16PthP century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16PthP century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa) The Chasme Shahi Garden and then pay a visit to the famous Shankaracharya Temple situated on top of Hill where you can have a look of the whole Srinagar City. In the Evening return to Houseboat/Hotel. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 2
This morning After Breakfast visit The City of Srinagar. The world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Garden known as 'Garden of pleasure' built in 16PthP century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden, 'Garden of love' Parimahal Garden also you can visit Tulip Garden, and then pay visit to famous Shankaracharya Temple situated on top of Hill where you can have a look of whole Srinagar City. In the Evening Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty of the Kashmir. Overnight at House Boat/ Hotel.
Day 3
This morning after breakfast leave for full day excursion to Sonmarg. Meadow of Gold', Sonmarg is set amidst a valley of flowers and greet Himalayan mountains. On the way you stop at many beautiful spots. Tourist Attractions in Sonamarg one can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier OR by walk where snow remains round the year. Sonamarg is known golden beauty covered with white snow mountains. Sonmarg is a base camp for the holy Amarnath yatra. The yatra is organized during the month of July-August every year, and thousands of tourists are drawn towards Sonmarg. Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to Srinagar. Overnight at House boat/Hotel.
Day 4
This morning after breakfast drive to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (Vale of Kashmir) Enroot visit Saffron field and Avantipur ruins, which is eleven hundred years old temple. Finally by the lunchtime you will reach to Pahalgam. Upon arrival check into your hotel. Tourist Attractions in Pahalgam most famous palace for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley surrounded by greet Himalayan mountains. Around the vicinity of Pahalgam one can visit Pahalgam Club which has lovely lawns, Bobby hut, Poshwan Park which means Garden of flowers OR go on horse riding in Pahalgam. Trout Fishing in Pahalgam is angler's paradise with brown & rainbow varieties of trout for fishing. Pahalgam offers White Water River rafting in the river ‘LIDER during April to August. Overnight at Hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 5
This morning after breakfast you are free for the day on your own to Enjoy in Pahalgam. Tourist Attractions in Pahalgam for the day. Visit to Chandanwari. The snow Point (14 Kms) at your own cost by walk or enjoy by pony ride OR by local transport in Pahalgam. Chandanwari is also the starting point for the auspicious Amarnath Yatra. OR visit Aru valley This charming meadow can be reached by walking or pony or by local transport in Pahalgam. OR visit Baisaran Pine forests dot this meadow which presents a picturesque view of the snow-clad mountains. The snow covered Tulian Lake at an altitude of 3353 m is 11kms from Baisaran. Or explore the countryside and enjoy leisurely walks through the pine forest along the River Lidder.Overnight at Hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 6
This morning after breakfast leave for Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. Upon arrival check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to enjoy your self. Enjoy breathtaking views of greet mountains. Overnight at Hotel in Gulmarg.
Day 7
This morning after breakfast you are free for the day on your own to Enjoy in Gulmarg. The name means Meadow of Flowers It is a majestic hill station in Kashmir valley in India. The hill station, at an altitude of 2730 m, was earlier known as Gaurimarg, where Gauri stands for Goddess Parvati the wife of Lord Shiva. The name Gulmarg was given to this place by the King Yousuf Shah Chak. Tourist Attractions in Gulmarg.One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg.OR pony riding. OR enjoys the nature walk in Gulmarg. Gulmarg is surrounded on all sides by a chain of mountains.Gulmarg the most beautiful Sumer resort it is also popular for its highest golf course in the world and skiing during the winter season. Overnight at Hotel in Gulmarg.
Day 8
This morning after breakfast proceed to Srinagar. Upon arrival check into your House boat/ Hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure or you can go for shopping in Markets or relax. Overnight at House boat/ Hotel.
Day 9
This morning after breakfast proceed to Khir Bhawani & Wular Lake & Manasbal Lake. Khir Bhawani: A marble temple with a gold plated dome stands here in the midst of a pool formed by spring waters. Wular Lake : The largest fresh-water lake in India is 60 km from Srinagar . Spreading over a 125 km area, the lake, by drawing off excess water from the Jhelum , acts as a natural flood reservoir. Interesting ruins in the centre of the lake are the remains of an island created by King Zain-ul-abidin. With its turbulent wateres perpetually wind ruffled, its exciting variety of avian life and the sheer beauty of its setting, Wular represent Nature at her most untamed. Manasbal Lake: This small clear blue water lake is a bird watcher's paradise. Chirping birds amidst blooming lotuses. There is a small rest house, two huts and a cafeteria. In the evening return to House boat/ Hotel. Overnight House boat/ Hotel.
Day 10
This morning after Breakfast proceed to Yousmarg, is a small meadow, set in the heart of the mountains in the south west of Srinagar.Yousmarg is an ideal picnic spot. Nilnaga medium sized spring with blue water and deep rooted weeds may be visited. From Yousmarg short treks can be made to Chitta Pathar. Smaller mountains like Twin peaks (point of departure Chashma Shahi) and Mahadev approximately 4000 M (Point of departure Harwan) can be climbed, including the descent by people in good condition in one day. The valley is surrounded on all sides by a chain of mountains which range from 4000 M to 5000 M, Sunset peak 4745 M, Tata Kutti 4725 M and so on. In the evening return to House boat/ Hotel. Overnight at House Boat/Hotel.
Day 11
This morning after Breakfast proceed to Daksum & Kokernag. Daksum Past Mughals gardens of Achabal with their tinkling fountains, through the breathtaking splendour of the springs at Kokernag, lies Daksum. Quite away from it all, tucked away in a densely forested gorge, Daksum would be completely silent but for the Bringhi river which gushes though it. Daksum is a walker's paradise. Up the hills which are swathed in coniferous trees, past gurgling brooks, the simple, haunting notes of a flute will waft down to you from where an unseen shepherd tends his flock. Kokernag. Situated the lower of Bringhi valley, Kokernag (2,020 m, from Srinagar ), is set amidst sprawling gardens fragrant with the bloom of thousands of flowers. The Kokernag spring bubbles at seven places at the foot of the forested mountain. The water of the spring is famous for its medicinal and digestive properties. In the evening return to Srinagar . Overnight at House boat/ Hotel.
Day 12
Today you will be transferred to Srinagar airport/ buses stand for onwards Journey.
